Terms of Service
Effective 5 October 2026
1. Who we are
CAD2Web is operated by GP novum s.r.o., Riegrova 1756/51, 370 01 České Budějovice, Czech Republic, Company ID (IČO) 28155483, VAT ID CZ28155483. Contact: info@gpnovum.cz.
2. The service
CAD2Web converts STEP and IGES files into GLB and USDZ files and generates HTML code for an embeddable 3D/AR viewer. The conversion runs in your web browser; your CAD files are not uploaded to our servers. Optional Pro hosting stores the converted GLB/USDZ files (not the CAD files) on our hosting provider so that you can embed them.
3. Your files and rights
You must have the right to use and publish the models you convert. You keep all rights to your files and outputs. We claim no rights in them. For hosted files you grant us the limited right to store and serve them to your visitors for as long as you keep them hosted.
4. Plans and payment
Free: one model per calendar day, files up to 20 MB; the viewer snippet contains a small “3D by CAD2Web” link. Pro (€29): 30 days of unlimited conversions, files up to 250 MB, no badge, hosted embeds; it does not renew automatically. Single model (€2): one model without the badge, usable within 48 hours of payment. Prices are in euros and include VAT where applicable. Payments are processed by Mollie B.V.; we never see your card details. The licence is stored in the browser in which you paid; if you lose it, email us with your payment reference.
5. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract. By starting to use Pro or the single-model unlock immediately after payment you request that performance begins at once and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the digital content has been fully supplied. If something does not work for you, write to us — we refund in good faith.
6. Quality of results
Conversion of CAD data into lightweight meshes simplifies geometry by design. Check every result (dimensions, orientation, appearance) before publishing it. Outputs are intended for visualisation, not for manufacturing, measurement or engineering decisions.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to circumvent its limits through automated means, to host unlawful content, or to attack the service. We may remove hosted files that break these terms.
8. Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.
9. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Czech law. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory law of their country of residence. EU consumers may use the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (adr.coi.cz) for out-of-court dispute resolution.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; the version shown here applies to purchases made while it is published.
